Project Description
This unique project required MSC to convert a board and batten wood barn into a climate controlled building suitable to perform as a movie theater. The work included the structural stabilization, weather proofing and sound proofing of the barn. All the exterior and interior doors were fabricated in our own shop.
History
MSC completed the Barn restoration in 2011. This project was a continuation of work from 2009 when MSC stabilized and shored this wood structure. The Leo Carrillo Ranch Park is a very popular destination in the City of Carlsbad. Leo Carrillo, the iconic film star from the early days of Hollywood, developed this property into a working ranch and place for entertaining his guests.
